Court Cards — Page, Knight, Queen, King
Each suit ends in four court cards: Page, Knight, Queen and King. They can describe a person, but more often they describe a quality of relating — a stance you (or someone else) are taking toward the situation.
Pages are messengers and beginners — fresh, curious, slightly unformed. Knights are in motion — pursuit, momentum, sometimes overreach. Queens hold the suit's energy inwardly — embodied, generative, sovereign. Kings hold it outwardly — public, structural, accountable.
Read the suit first (what life-area), then the court (what stance). A Knight of Swords is not the same news as a Queen of Cups, even in the same spread.
